The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) is a coalition of over 400 legal professionals dedicated to fostering a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.
For the past several years, I’ve collaborated with LCLD’s internal team to develop the visual identity for their annual membership meetings. Each year brings a new theme that I translate into a cohesive and engaging design system that is used across various media from t-shirts and print collateral to immersive event graphics and projections.

The 2022 annual meeting theme was "Transforming Tomorrow." Working closely with LCLD’s team, I crafted a visual identity centered on new beginnings—incorporating imagery of sunrises, orbiting planets, and symbolic representations of time and renewal. This design system extended across multiple touch points, including event graphics, large-scale projections, t-shirts, and an introductory video for conference attendees.

To support this initiative, I crafted a dynamic visual branding suite inspired by quilt patterns—symbolizing unity, collaboration, and the power of shared experiences. The design system, built on interlocking square and diamond shapes, reinforced the idea of coming together to create something greater.
Working within LCLD’s primary brand colors, I developed a vibrant and optimistic palette that reflects a hopeful vision for the future. This culminated in a highly modular design system that adapted flawlessly across various media.
