As a writer, educator, and stylist, Alea McKinley is a true force. She came to me seeking a personal brand that could authentically encompass the breadth of her work—something clear and compelling for potential clients.

For the logotype, I combined a serif and a sans serif typeface as a nod to her diverse skill set. Though her roles may seem distinct, they come together to form a cohesive, powerful presence—just like her. I also incorporated a ginkgo leaf in some of the secondary logo marks, reflecting her personal philosophy of inspiring peace and hope in those she works with.
